A new market was taking place in the district “Breite” in Basel. I got the chance to create a visual that would be printed and distributed as posters and flyers all over the city. I wanted to show the diversity of the markets groceries which are regional, seasonal and handmade by local farmers. So I worked with a strong stroke, simple illustrations and friendly colours. The stroke would always stay the same, but the illustrations and colours would change every season. So does nature and because of that, also the market and its products are in a constant change.

Other Drafts
When you start a project and have a certain idea, it is always important to not stick on that one, but keep your eyes and mind open and try out as many things as possible. Within a designing process, I never just work into one direction. It’s the long way round that leads you to the best solutions. And besides that, a client loves to see multiple drafts. Opening a world of concrete possibilities helps them to define their ideas and wishes more precisely.
